STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — Cael Sanderson has accomplished just about every notable achievement possible during his illustrious career as an amateur wrestler and collegiate coach.

However, there is one notable exception.

Sanderson has never defeated Iowa in a dual meet in nine tries as a wrestler or coach at Iowa State and now at Penn State.

He can end that skid Sunday when the second-ranked Hawkeyes visit No. 3 Penn State.

The defending NCAA champion Nittany Lions are 3-0 in their last three dual meets, all against Big Ten foes on the road.

Iowa is riding a two-match winning streak after a rare loss. The Hawkeyes fell to No. 1 Oklahoma State 17-16 on Jan. 7 to snap Iowa’s 84-match unbeaten streak.
