WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — A Chelan County Superior Court judge has ordered 15 days of mental health evaluation for a man accused of threatening to bomb the Wenatchee Valley Medical Center pharmacy.
Eastern State Hospital will evaluate Michael E. Taber. He reportedly asked an employee at the pharmacy on March 22 if the clinic was scheduled for a firebombing that afternoon.
The Wenatchee World (http://is.gd/I4JpPA) reports Taber was picking up medications at the time.
The clinic reported the incident to Wenatchee police and he was arrested six days later when he made another visit to the pharmacy. He has been charged with threats to bomb, which is a felony.
