PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Damion Lee scored 21 points and Drexel outscored George Mason 10-2 in the game’s final 3 12 minutes to seal a comeback 60-53 win on Thursday night.

Lee started the spree, knocking down back-to-back 3-pointers in an 18-second span to put the Dragons up for good at 56-51 with 2:56 to play. The Patriots pulled back within three, but Derrick Thomas and Samme Givens each went 2-for-2 from the foul line in the final 20 seconds to seal it.

Frantz Massenat added 12 points for the Dragons (11-5, 3-2 Colonial Athletic Association), who overcame a five-point halftime deficit by outscoring the Patriots 38-26 in the second half.

Drexel has won three straight, while George Mason had a season-high six-game winning streak snapped.

Mike Morrison led George Mason (12-5, 4-1) with 10 points, the Patriots’ only player in double-figure scoring.
