MILWAUKEE (AP) — Julie Wojta scored 27 points and had 12 steals, leading No. 17 Wisconsin-Green Bay to an 88-53 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday.
Wojta, a 6-foot senior, made 10 of 17 shots and had five assists and three rebounds in just 25 minutes for the Phoenix (13-0, 3-0 Horizon League).
Courtney Lindfors scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds for Milwaukee (4-9, 0-3).
Milwaukee took a 12-10 lead on Angela Rodriguez’ 3-pointer with 14:03 left in the first half. Green Bay scored the next 24 points to take command, opening a 34-12 advantage on Adrian Ritchie’s 3-pointer with 7:54 left in the half.
After Rodriguez’ 3 pointer, the Panthers didn’t make another field goal until early in the second half. Milwaukee missed its final eight shots of the first half and committed 22 turnovers, which led to 31 points for Green Bay by halftime.
