• The Bonneville Power Administration has named Larry N. Bekkedahl the agency’s transmission services senior vice president, based in Vancouver. He began working for BPA in 2008 and had served as BPA’s deputy senior vice president of transmission services. Bekkedahl, a Vancouver resident, spent seven years at Clark Public Utilities, where he was director of engineering and technical services.
• Regents Bank has promoted Devin Jackson, a native of Vancouver, to vice president in its Vancouver office. Jackson has been with Regents Bank for seven years as assistant vice president, commercial banking officer and credit analyst. He joined the bank after graduating magna cum laude from Gonzaga University with a business major in finance in 2005. He specializes in commercial banking for small and midsized businesses in Southwest Washington.
• Barb Holbrook, office manager for Pritchard Orthodontics in Vancouver, has been selected as the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce 2012 Ambassador of the Year, one of the chamber’s highest honors for individual members. Holbrook has been a chamber ambassador for nine years and currently serves as ambassador co-chair.
• Two doctors from Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery have made Portland monthly magazine’s 2013 Top Doctors list. Jerod Cottrill is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with fellowship training in interventional spine and sports medicine. He is also a regional medical provider the U.S. ski and snowboard teams. Anthony Wei is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty interest in sports medicine and problems relating to the shoulder.
• The Southwest Washington Contractors Association has selected three new members for its board of directors in 2013. They are Michele Freeman of West Coast Bank; Alasdair Mackenzie of VIQAN LLC; and Trevor Wyckoff of RSV Building Solutions. The 18-member board is charged with carrying out the goals of the association’s strategic plan.
• Lexington House, an Assisted Living Concepts community, has recently hired Heather Kuhnel as a residence director and Nicole Eddy as a life enrichment coordinator. Kuhnel is in charge of the overall management of the building and the care and safety of its residents. Eddy, who lives in Vancouver, is responsible for planning daily activities for the residents.

• A new center offering therapy for people who suffer from post-traumatic stress is now open on Vancouver’s Officers Row. The Integrative Trauma Treatment Center is a group of therapists who offer an optimistic and progressive approach to trauma recovery. The clinic offers specialized services to all kinds of survivors, ranging from veterans and first responders to sexual and domestic assault survivors. The clinic’s Vancouver address is 400 E. Evergreen Blvd., Suite 207. It also operates in Portland at 3583 N.E. Broadway.

• Fit Right has received The North Face Never Stop Exploring Award. The award is for extreme dedication to encouraging and enabling outdoor exploration. Fit Right was selected for its fun and creative programs. It was also named as one of the 50 Best Running Stores in America. The Vancouver store is at 16020 S.E. • A new Subway store has opened in Vancouver at 2265 N.E. Andresen Road, in front of WinCo foods. This is the first new Subway restaurant to open in the Vancouver area in more than two years, and the first for owner John French. He currently owns three Subways. French recently extended the hours at his restaurants, and the new one on Andresen is open 24 hours.
