Heir Kitty wins Betfair Hollywood Park feature

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Heir Kitty won the $48,288 feature by 3 1/4 lengths at Betfair Hollywood Park on Friday.

Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Heir Kitty ran six furlongs on the synthetic Cushion Track in 1:10.74 and paid $3.80, $2.20 and $2.10 as the 9-10 favorite. Gomez rode two other winners on the card.

Imwittheblonde returned $2.40 and $2.10, and stablemate Spooky Lady was another 2 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $2.10 to show.

The victory, worth $96,800, increased Heir Kitty’s career earnings to $96,800, with two wins in five starts. The 2-year-old filly was the wagering favorite for the first time and was making her initial start without blinkers.
