Boys basketball: Ridgefield 52, Camas 44

After leading by just three points after three quarters, the Spudders (3-0) pulled away in the fourth with a couple of 3-pointers to beat 4A Camas in the non-league game.

“We hit a couple of big 3s and that let us get a lead we could sit on,” Ridgefield coach Nick Veys said. “We shared the ball and worked hard on defense. It’s a big win for us.”

Ridgefield’s balanced scoring attack was led by David Potter’s 14 points. Kyle Morris had 10. JD Wolniewicz had 13 rebounds.

Trevor Jasinsky led Camas in scoring with 16 points.
