INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Celeste Hoewisch scored 23 points, Julie Wojta added 20 and No. 22 Wisconsin-Green Bay held off a second-half rally for a 66-62 victory over Butler on Thursday night.

Kayla Tetschlag added 11 points for the Phoenix (19-1, 8-0 Horizon League), who went on a 13-0 run in the first half and led by as many as 17 points — twice.

The Bulldogs got as close as four five times in the second half, but Wisconsin-Green Bay used pressure defense and clutch free throw shooting to clinch its 10th consecutive victory.

Chloe Hamilton shot 11 of 11 from the field and scored 26 points to lead Butler (13-7, 7-1).

Hoewisch hit two crucial 3-pointers in a 19-point second half and her two free throws with 43 seconds remaining gave the Phoenix a six-point lead.
