ANTERSELVA, Italy (AP) — Anton Shipulin of Russia has won a World Cup biathlon race for the first time.
He captured the 10-kilometer sprint and hit all his targets Thursday, finishing in 23 minutes, 26.2 seconds.
Michael Greiss of Germany also shot perfectly and was the runner-up, 10 seconds behind.
Lars Berger of Norway was third, 20.5 seconds behind Shipulin. He missed a target and picked up a standing penalty. Berger won last week in Ruhpolding, Germany.
