OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Police say a 17-year-old who opened fire in an Omaha, Neb., high school fatally shot himself after leaving the school.
Omaha police Chief Alex Hayes identified the suspect at Robert Butler, Jr. Hayes says Butler was the son of an Omaha police detective.
Two adults were wounded in the shooting on Wednesday afternoon at Millard South High School. Police say the victims are the school’s principal, Curtis Case, and vice principal, Vicki Kasper.
Hayes says Kasper is in critical condition and Case is in stable condition at an area hospital.
