LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Markieff Morris had 20 points and twin brother Marcus added 18 to help No. 3 Kansas cruise past Miami of Ohio 83-56 on Sunday.
Kansas (13-0) extended the nation’s longest homecourt winning streak to 67 games. Freshman Josh Selby had 18 points for the Jayhawks, one of seven unbeaten teams in Division I.
Orlando Williams had 11 points and Allen Roberts added 10 for Miami (5-9).
The Jayhawks took control with a 14-0 run in the first half that made it 33-11 with 5:19 to play. Selby spurred the run with eight points, including an emphatic slam and baseline 3-pointer.
The rest of the time it was Marcus and Markieff Morris, neither of whom started the game. The twins had a combined 29 points in the first half — eight more than Miami, which trailed 47-21.
The Redhawks trailed by more than 30 points several times in the second half.
