UC Santa Barbara takes 75-67 OT win

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) — James Nunnally scored 19 points, including six in overtime, to lift UC Santa Barbara over Fresno Pacific 75-67 on Friday.

The Gauchos (7-5) sent the game to overtime when Jordan Weiner hit a layup at the buzzer to tie it at 62. They then outscored the Sunbirds (10-4) 13-5 in extra play with the help of a 3-pointer and three free throws by Nunnally.

The Gauchos shot 49 percent from the floor overall while Fresno Pacific hit just 38.1 percent.

Greg Somogyi added 16 points for UC Santa Barbara, Orlando Johnson scored 12 and Jon Pastorek 10.

Deshaun Legree led the game in scoring with 21 points for the Sunbirds while Matt Christman added 17.

The Gauchos outrebounded the Sunbirds 38-30.
