Girls basketball: Woodinville 47, Skyview 44

Two of the top teams in Washington went to Oregon and played a three-point thriller.

Woodinville erased a nine-point halftime deficit and outscored Skvyiew by nine in the final period for the 47-44 victory in the Nike Interstate Shootout in Lake Oswego.

It was Skyview’s first loss of the season.

Woodinville is ranked No. 5 by the Seattle Times in the Class 4A rankings. Skyview is No. 4.

Aubrey Ward-El led the Storm with 13 points. Jocelyn Adams added 10 points.

Skyview’s Delaney Keser made a 3-pointer late in the game to get the Storm within two, but Woodinville made a free throw and the Storm were unable to tie the game.

Skyview will take on Westview of Beaverton at 5 p.m. Thursday.
