Thank you for publishing the Dec. 15 story “Report: 1 in 4 women attacked by partner” on the Center for Disease Control’s intimate partner violence survey. As a survivor of abuse, I have learned that often these crimes go unreported and abusers get away with horrible things.
I believed it could never happen to me. It started out with verbal abuse, then escalated to my abuser throwing things then to violently assaulting me several times.
