TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Damen Bell-Holter grabbed 11 rebounds, scored 11 points and made the three-point play that put Oral Roberts on top with 24 seconds left in a 61-55 come-from-behind win over Southern Utah on Saturday night.

The Eagles (6-2, 1-0 Summit) trailed for much of the second half, including by eight points with about 412 minutes to go. But they rallied after that, scoring 16 points and holding the Thunderbirds (4-4, 0-1) to just two.

Bell-Holter made a jumper with 1:36 left to bring the Eagles within a point. A little more than a minute later he made the go-ahead layup while being fouled, then sank the free throw to make it 57-55.

Michael Craion led the Eagles with 15 points while Roderick Pearson added 10.

Southern Utah’s Jackson Stevenett led the game with 20 points. Wade Collie helped out with 12 points and Matt Massey scored 11 for the Thunderbirds.
