BURNS, Ore. (AP) — More than a foot of snow has fallen in the eastern Oregon town of Burns, collapsing a portion of the roof at the Burns Ford dealership, snapping power lines and causing traffic accidents that intermittently closed area roads.

Harney County Sheriff Dave Glerup says no one was injured in the roof collapse, which occurred over Tuesday night when the dealership was closed.

Burns Fire Chief Scott Williamson says some ATVs were buried. There was no immediate damage estimate.

In northeast Oregon, blowing and drifting snow closed 100 miles of Interstate 84 from Pendleton to Baker City for several hours Tuesday, temporarily stranding about 150 long-haul truck drivers at a truck stop outside LaGrande.
