EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Everett police say a 37-year-old man was fatally stabbed Monday evening in the parking lot of an elementary school.
Sgt. Robert Goetz says police responded to 911 calls about a man screaming for help. The Everett man was taken to a hospital, where he died from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was not immediately identified.
Goetz says major crimes detectives are investigating. The Daily Herald says police don’t believe the stabbing had anything to do with Madison Elementary School.
