UC Santa Barbara drops Cal Baptist 76-52

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) — Jordan Weiner came off the bench to score 16 points and lead UC Santa Barbara to a 76-52 win over Cal Baptist on Tuesday night.

The Gauchos (6-4) led 39-25 at halftime and were ahead by as many as 29 points late in the second period.

Kyle Boswell and James Nunnally helped out with 11 points each for the Gauchos while Orlando Johnson added 10.

The Lancers (6-6) did slightly better on rebounds, pulling down a 27-26 advantage. Cal Baptist’s Brannon Bradley led the game in scoring and rebounds with 17 points and nine boards.

Jerome Lowe added 10 points for the Lancers, including three 3-pointers.
