TORONTO (AP) — Toronto Raptors center Andrea Bargnani didn’t dress for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers because of a sore right ankle.
Bargnani sat out Wednesday’s loss to Chicago but scored 32 points and pulled down nine rebounds in Friday’s 98-92 win over New Jersey.
The seven-foot Italian is averaging 21.4 points and 5.8 rebounds.
Rookie Ed Davis started in his place at center. Raptors guard Sonny Weems also didn’t dress for his second straight game because of back spasms.
