SEATTLE (AP) — Seahawks right guard Stacy Andrews was inactive Sunday against Atlanta, continuing a mysterious week where Andrews was never listed on the injury report and lost his starting job.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll announced Friday that Mike Gibson would start at right guard against the Falcons. Andrews had started the last 12 games for Seattle.
Also out for the Seahawks was rookie cornerback Walter Thurmond, who was doubtful with a hamstring injury.
Everyone on the Falcons injury report was active, including backup running back Jason Snelling and linebacker Curtis Lofton. Both were questionable, Snelling with a hamstring and Lofton with a knee injury.
