1 injured in Seattle police-involved shooting

SEATTLE (AP) — Medics say one person with a gunshot wound has been taken to a hospital in what police describe as an officer-involved shooting Tuesday night in downtown Seattle.

Detective Jeff Kappel tells KOMO-TV no officers were injured.

The shooting happened at Third Avenue and Yesler Way at about 10 p.m.

No immediate word on the condition of the person taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Additional details were not immediately available.
