All Battle Ground city offices will open one hour late Friday.
City Hall, the public works operations center, police department, and parks and recreation department at the community center will open at 9 a.m. The community center will remain open its regular hours and all activities will be held as scheduled.
Essential personnel will remain available for emergencies.
The one-hour closure will allow all staff to attend an annual recognition breakfast. Members of the city’s management team will contribute all of the food and supplies needed to cook and serve breakfast to the entire staff.
