COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado Rapids have decided not to pick up options on midfielders Claudio Lopez, Ciaran O’Brien and the recently acquired Peter Vagenas.

All three are eligible for the MLS re-entry draft this month, if they choose to participate.

Lopez joined the Rapids on April 2 and appeared in 11 games for Colorado.

Colorado drafted O’Brien in 2008. He played in one regular season game, three U.S. Open Cup matches and 10 reserve division games during his three years with the Rapids.

The Rapids acquired Vagenas on Nov. 22 from the Seattle Sounders FC. He also has played with the Los Angeles Galaxy in 11 years in Major League Soccer.
