DENVER (AP) — Carmelo Anthony has been ejected from the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Milwaukee Bucks after jawing with officials and picking up his second technical foul.
Anthony had 14 points when he was tossed with 2:40 remaining in the third quarter Wednesday night.
The Nuggets star picked up his first technical after he drove in for a layup attempt and Larry Sanders blocked the shot in the air against the backboard. Anthony complained to the officials that there should have been a goaltending call.
During a television timeout that was called after the initial sequence, Anthony renewed the complaint with the officials, and was hit with another technical, leading to his ejection.
