Rainier Springs is a behavioral healthcare facility dedicated to providing compassionate and dignified care for those suffering from mental health conditions and addiction problems. All of their treatment programs provide support services such as medication management , group and family therapy, alumni support groups and discharge planning.
Within the 53,000 square foot 72-bed state-of-the-art facility, patients and guests are greeted with a digital fireplace, fresh beverages, a calm environment, and the amenities of a fine hotel.
A Continuum of Care – Inpatient, Outpatient, and In-Between
Rainer Springs offers several services to help people throughout their recovery journey.
At the in-patient level, they offer intensive round-the-clock mental health and substance abuse treatment for typically 7-10 days. During inpatient treatment, patients will learn to manage their mental health or addiction issues through a combination of behavioral and holistic therapies, wellness education, recreational activities and medication.
Partial Hospitalization Program
After the in-patient stay, the patient can then step into “Changes,” Rainier Springs’ Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The Changes program is the next logical step. It involves 2-3 weeks of intensive group therapy with a licensed therapist for 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Medication management is offered in this program, and a psychiatrist is available to prescribe medication when needed. Nursing services are also provided and each patient receives an initial evaluation to address any physical health concerns.
Personalized Treatment for Every Patient
An inpatient stay is not a prerequisite for treatment at Rainier Springs; in fact, Changes is also available as an initial admission. This means someone can walk in, have their initial assessment completed and be admitted directly to the program, rather than being first admitted as an inpatient. This option can help patients in a lower level of care before their mental illness or addiction becomes a crisis situation.
Rainier Springs’ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Changes Program at the IOP level of care includes 3 hours of therapy, 3 days per week. In this program, patients are transitioning from receiving on-site psychiatric treatment for medication management to their outpatient psychiatrist. After 6 weeks, patients will be provided with resources for regular outpatient therapy, recommendations for psychiatry if needed, and a primary care provider if they have specific health concerns.
Providing Help for Anyone, 24/7
A caring support staff can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide treatment for adults suffering from a mental illness or addiction. Rainier Springs has trained clinicians available to respond to crisis situations such as thoughts of suicide and hopelessness, depression, and alcohol and drug detox.
