National Margarita Day is a celebration of this hugely popular cocktail each year on February 22nd. One of the most requested Happy Hour drinks, the Margarita traditionally consists of tequila, triple sec and lime juice, usually either blended or served over ice. If you haven’t stepped into any of Jorge’s restaurants to see the incredible twists they put on the classic margarita, this weekend is the time!

Jorge’s Mexican Restaurants are the locals’ choice for celebrating National Margarita Day

What makes this year’s Margarita Day even more special is that February 22nd lands on a Friday! There is no better way to make the most of a gloomy winter day (and a TGIF) than to celebrate with our local Margarita experts Jorge, Betty and Edgar Castro.

Though the celebration technically lands on Friday, the restaurants will be celebrating starting today! Why, might you ask, are Jorge’s restaurants the town favorites for celebrating this holiday? If you’ve ever tried one of their Million dollar Margaritas made with fresh muddled raspberries and champagne, you’d know!

Did you know they even serve a drink out of a high heel, called the Marilyn Monroe? Jorge’s restaurants don’t just put a twist on the classic concoction; they have a whirlwind Margarita menu with at least 40 different spin-offs. Close your eyes and imagine this – a warm sunny beach filled with the smell of a tropical margarita in front of you, endless servings of house-made tortilla chips and salsa, and the sizzle of fresh fajitas ready to devour. Now we’re talking! (And yes, they WILL be having specials on all of the above!)

Looking to try the restaurant’s most popular Margarita? Try the ‘Best in Town,’ which comes with fresh muddled limes, orange liquor, house made triple sec and tequila all muddled together and garnished with lime. Can’t go wrong with a classic!

Not a tequila fan? Why don’t you try an UNclassic cocktail called the Bam Bam, which is big enough for 2 or 3 to share!

Jorge’s Mexican Restaurants include four locations throughout Clark County, including Jorge’s Tequila Factory in downtown Vancouver, Jorge’s Margarita Factory in East Vancouver on Mill Plain, Jorge’s Margarita Factory in Hazel Dell, and The Cerveza Factory in Battle Ground.

Enjoy Family-Friendly Specials and Events This Friday, February 22nd

Jorge invites the community to “come out, decompress, and have a good time” at any of their four locations on National Margarita Day. There will be food and drink specials offered all day long, and all restaurants are family-friendly.

Says brother Edgar, “The celebration of National Margarita Day at our restaurants is not just for the 21-and-over crowd; we can make nearly any specialty Margarita into an alcohol-free ‘virgin’ drink, because we want the whole family to enjoy our specials and celebrate a fun holiday.”

Jorge’s Restaurants also accommodate dietary requirements, so their menus and cocktails include gluten-free and sugar-free options, and any menu item or drink can be modified to suit their customers’ needs and tastes.

The Future of Jorge’s Mexican Restaurants

The fantastic food, unique cocktail selections, warm and friendly staff, and fun weekend dance events means you will have a great time any of the other 364 days of the year at Jorge’s Mexican Restaurants.
