Thanks to those autumn-like east winds, the thermometer shot into the mid-80s Friday. Wind gusts at least along the Columbia and below our foothills were gusting between 20 and 30 mph. The temperatures around 85 degrees felt pleasant due to the dry air, unlike a more summer-like reading. Read story
