Police officers attempted to stop a black 2000 Ford Mustang in the area of Northeast Sandy Boulevard and Interstate 205 in Portland. A police chase ensued, and an officer used a spike strip to flatten multiple tires on the Mustang on the onramp for westbound Interstate 84 from Northeast 39th Avenue. The chase continued onto Interstate 5 and north into Vancouver.
