Esther Short -- More than 40 volunteers helped The Vancouver Downtown Association plant trees April 9. In two hours, the volunteers, under the guidance of Jessica Antoine of Urban Forestry, planted 38 trees. This brings the total of trees planted in downtown Vancouver to 101 in three years.
