A Vancouver man died Monday evening after he crashed into the back of a semitruck parked on the shoulder of a highway in Eastern Oregon, according to the Oregon State Police. Read story

Jaxon Jondahl, 20, makes a first appearance Tuesday morning in Clark County Superior Court in connection with a fatal crash Sunday in Hockinson. Jondahl, who investigators say they believe was driving drunk and speeding, crashed into a Toyota Camry driven by Nicholas A. W. Crown, 35, of Hockinson. Crown died at a hospital Monday.
