A vigorous cold front resided over our area Saturday, with gusty winds and light to moderate rain. Temperatures remained steady between 46 and 48 degrees. Read story

The Modera Vancouver building will be on Block 21, on the northwestern corner of the Waterfront Vancouver development. It will provide 14 stories of mostly apartments. Construction is expected to start in August of next year, said Sam Rodriguez, senior managing director of Mill Creek Residential, the developer of the project. It will be the third tallest building (apart from grain silos and other non-occupied structures) in the city.
