Vancouver police on Sunday identified a suspected homicide victim as Michael J. Ellis, 48. On Friday at 5:57 p.m., police were dispatched to an assault at 1011 W. 12th St., Unit 2, in west Vancouver. Ellis was living there, police said. Read story

A westbound Nissan pickup, driven by Jesse Dean Rankin, 29, of Camas, crossed the center line and hit a Toyota sedan driven by Carrie Ann Hill, 36, of Vancouver, and a Nissan sedan whose driver was not identified.
