3 women to be honored for works

Janice Veca, 86, and Donald Van Rossen, 83, met last year while both living at the Touchmark at Fairview Village retirement community. Both of their spouses had died. At first Veca didn't think she'd ever marry again, but Van Rossen's charm and persistence paid off. They'll be married in front of family and friends in a traditional ceremony March 16 at Glenwood Community Church in Vancouver.
