The past 18 years have been filled with ups and downs when it comes to issues surrounding her health, but with the support of her family the University of Portland junior has taken it all in stride. She continues to reach out to other RA sufferers through the Arthritis Foundation, and is studying to become a registered nurse. &quot;I have had so many people help me along my journey,&quot; she said.
