Murdock Charitable Trust will provide $450,000 for the Columbia Land Trust to purchase 1,300 acres in Skamania County along Wildboy Creek, a tributary to the West Fork Washougal River. The property, which is currently owned by Weyerhaeuser Co., includes a 45-foot-high dam that the Cowlitz Indian Tribe intends to remove.
