Matt Johnson, the high school principal placed on paid administrative leave twice by Evergreen Public Schools since March 16, has resigned from his job at Mountain View High School and will resign from the district effective June 30, 2022, as a result of a settlement agreement with the district. One person was treated for smoke inhalation Tuesday after a fire damaged a house in the 9300 block of Northeast 11th Street in the French Glen section of central Vancouver, according to the Vancouver Fire Department, which cautioned people to never go back in to burning buildings. Read story
