Each of the armed forces issues one of its own design. This one is for the Army. Four recipients of the Army's Medal of Honor are buried in the Vancouver Barracks Cemetery: Maj. William Wallace McCammon, 1st Sgt. James Madison Hill, Pvt. Herman Pfisterer and 1st Sgt. Moses Williams.
