At age 97, Tokiwa is still able to carry the 442nd's banner -- figuratively speaking -- in events around the region. This unidentified Sherman Club striker (batter) was caught on camera during a vintage game replay about 150 years later. The umpire called him out if the fielders caught the ball in their bare hands, either in the air or after one bounce. His uniform was all wool -- even the hat -- and hot. His wooden-soled shoes made running the bases slippery.
