Kasper Recovery Housing in Hazel Dell used to be the Value Motel. James Kasper converted the notorious property into recovery housing over the past year. The project took hours and hours of work. A year ago, the building was in disrepair. Now, it features new amenities. Heidi Hansen, a resident of Kasper Recovery Housing, sees the transformation of the building as a part of her own recovery. "I've transformed because of what Kasper has done," she said.
