PeaceHealth has notified 59 Clark County employees that their positions will be eliminated when the health system hands over some of its laboratory operations to New Jersey-based Quest Diagnostics later this spring. Read story

Wendi Walter, total joint program coordinator and licensed physical therapist assistant, leads a March 14 class on total-knee replacement surgery at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center. The hospital began in January offering a robotic-assisted version of the procedure using MAKOplasty technology. Surgeons have performed more than 15 of the procedures to date.
