PeaceHealth lays off 50 staff members

PeaceHealth has laid off approximately 50 employees from its Technology Solutions Partners division. In a statement Friday, the health care company said the layoffs resulted from a decision to centralize some of its tech support services to a shared services center in Vancouver. Read story

Clark County Public Health has downgraded the health advisory at Vancouver Lake from warning to caution. While blooms of cyanobacteria, or blue-green algae, are still present at the lake, recent test samples from the water show low levels of toxins, according to a Public Health news release. Read story
