The scorched interior of Diosa, a new Mexican restaurant that was scheduled to open in downtown Vancouver next week. Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli said the Thursday afternoon fire was caused by sparks from unpermitted pyrotechnic machines igniting a decoration on the ceiling of the restaurant.
