Woodland High School’s Positive Academic Support System spotlighted its graduates in a special ceremony before this year’s commencement. The Positive Academic Support System program, started in 2019, targets struggling students and assigns staff members who help the students by offering whatever support they need to get back on track. 10 seniors from four Vancouver high schools successfully completed forklift certification training on May 21, at Fort Vancouver High School. The training, led by Rhett Carpenter, began at 7:30 a.m. with classroom instruction and simulator exercises. Certification testing using a forklift took place at approximately 9:30 a.m. Read story
