Letter: Bridge process is backward

By Kevin Franklin, Vancouver
Published: September 28, 2024, 6:00am

So, we have 60 days to review the bridge plans. Let me get this straight: We don’t have a final design, we don’t know how much it will cost, we don’t have Coast Guard approval, we don’t know how much the local citizens will be asked to pay, and I believe we mentioned we would rather not have light rail included. Not to be negative, but shouldn’t these things have been decided beforehand?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
