Letter: Support Fuentes, Little for county

By Phil Landesberg, VANCOUVER
Published: September 24, 2024, 6:00am

Clark County voters made a decision in 2021 but have not acted on it.

Voters decided to make the Clark Council nonpartisan. Yet partisan and ideological perspectives still dominate county council actions. While wasting time on irrelevant resolutions on the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program, the council has avoided effective collaboration with Vancouver on the issue of homelessness.

Voters can act to ensure an effective county council by electing Wil Fuentes and Matt Little. Wil’s education and background in community planning and development, and Matt’s education and background in public administration and conservation will best serve the needs of county residents.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
