Letter: Prioritize recreation in county

Another golf course may bite the dust? In the 25 years that we’ve lived here, Clark County will have lost half a dozen golf courses, batting cages, a driving range, a sheet of ice at Mountain View ice arena, bowling alleys and a roller skating rink.

I support the need for more housing, but what are the residents of all the new houses going to have left to do for recreation? I believe kids and adults need someplace other than a small community park to go spend their time. I would ask that the cities and county councils prioritize the recreational needs of its citizens along with the need for more housing.
