Battle Ground winery and restaurant La Uva Fortuna to close amid claims of unpaid bills

Venue formerly known as Rusty Grape Vineyards targeted by employees, vendors, county in recent years

The owners of the Battle Ground winery and restaurant La Uva Fortuna Farms, formerly known as Rusty Grape Vineyards, announced Wednesday that they will close their business by year’s end.

The announcement came after a Facebook post in a Hockinson community group ignited fury among locals, many of whom claim Jeremy and Heather Brown owe them money.
