Letter: Criticism of Harris is inaccurate

This is a response to Roy Schimelpfenig’s comment on Kamala Harris (“Harris is too liberal,” Our Readers’ Views, Sept. 14). I totally agree with his last two sentences, especially the part about get informed and vote while you can. The rest is a problem if accuracy is important.

Harris has commented on the border. She would sign the legislation on the border that Trump stopped for his own benefit; it was a strong border bill and would certainly not leave the border open. Harris was a state attorney general. What AG would defund the police? The comments on defunding, getting rid of ICE and no-cash bail are all less than credible.
