A 34-year-old Orchards man was arrested after admitting he stabbed and killed his sister, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Dwayne Breis Robinson was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder early today.

Just before midnight Wednesday, deputies responded to a house near the 7500 block of Northeast 123rd Court after receiving a report of a disturbance with a weapon.

The person who called 911 said when he arrived at the house to check on Diane Robinson, 36, who had not been heard from in several days, her brother said he had stabbed and killed her, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Arriving patrol deputies detained Dwayne Breis Robinson and searched the house. Inside, they found a dead woman inside who will later be identified by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
