Letter: Candidates are third-rate

By Donald Knoop, VANCOUVER

Mr. French from Camas believes a write-in vote is a wasted vote (“Don’t waste your vote for president,” Our Readers’ Views, Sept. 13). I can assure him I will not have a warm and fuzzy feeling when I cast mine in November. I will have a feeling of disgust towards two parties that put up third-rate candidates. I cannot vote for either candidate with a clear conscience. Whatever happened to the brightest and best our country has to offer?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
